Accredited Training and Education
State Records of South Australia has developed accredited training and education programs to fulfil its requirements: State Records has made a distinction between training and education. Accredited training courses have been developed to up-skill records management practitioners in government to more effectively develop and implement their agency's strategic recordkeeping programs and operational systems, tools and practices. Education courses have been designed to inform all public servants of the need for, benefits, and principles of sound records management practices within the workplace in the context of the South Australian Freedom Of Information Act, 1991, Information Privacy Principles and the State Records Act, 1997.
