What is the Recognition Process?

The recognition process is a procedure that enables students to gain acknowledgment for current competencies and skills that a student has acquired. It is a term that includes Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), Recognition of Current Competencies (RCC) and Credit Transfer (CT).

So if you feel that you have all the necessary skills to achieve competency, but don't know how to go about being recognised for your skills please read our Recognition of Prior Learning Frequently Asked Questions.

Further information about how to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and the process involved is provided under Certificate III and Certificate IV below.
