Preparing for Your Visit
To prepare for your visit to State Records: - identify the people you are attempting to trace by full name, approximate birth and death dates and place of residence, if known
- prepare specific questions - what is it that you want to know about these people? General requests for all the information on these people are too broad and you need to identify a specific area to research
- note the resources you have already seen, so we do not recommend them again.
